HEALTH IS WEALTH: Appreciate Your Good Health
As I sit here listening to the wheezing and rattling of my chest like little bubbles on top of milk popping as you blow into a straw, or a noisy timer, or a kid’s 50 cents horsey ride machine on the street corner. I’m reminded how precious and a gift good health really is. So often I take for granted leaving the house, even opting as the recluse that I am to stay home and vegetate and be by myself as writers sometimes long for. But now I’m sick and haven’t been out of the house but for a few hours in a 4 day period and I’m aware of my loss of freedom with these revelations.
Take advantage of every breath while you have it! Enjoy life fully, you never know God forbid when you’ll be sidelined and can’t leave the house or God forbid the hospital.
Do what you want to do (legally of course) This means don’t wait until all conditions are right to fulfill your dreams. I have a chest infection but it could’ve been much worse and my life could be over.
Help someone else less fortunate than yourself. If nothing but to give you brownie points to bargain with God during your sickness, like Lord I helped someone doesn’t that count for something. Ok my time is up. Time for me to go yack up a lung. Ugh the rattling!!
